The "Shasha" event, organized by the (Fan) Foundation to promote media arts for youth and children, continues its second day program, which brings together lovers of anime, comics, music and electronic games, to celebrate Japanese culture and arts, through a series of educational and creative activities inspired by the art of anime.

A group of artists, young entrepreneurs and designers will participate in the event, which will be held at Aljada in Sharjah, during which they will present workshops and interactive activities aimed at introducing anime lovers to the aesthetics of this global cultural and creative phenomenon.

The artist and trainer, Sarah Mohamed, presented an educational workshop entitled “Introduction to drawing in the chibi style”, in which the young people were introduced to how to draw miniature versions of the Japanese “chibi” anime and manga characters, which are characterized by their large heads, small bodies, and expressive eyes. The participants also learned to identify The correct proportions of the face, how to prepare an outline for their drawings, and the young artists enjoyed drawing eyes that reflect the feelings of their characters.

The program of the “Shasha” event included a workshop for beginners entitled “Introduction to Manga Art” presented by trainer Ali Gharib, in which the participants learned the basic steps of drawing manga characters, and their difference from drawing comics. The event also witnessed two workshops on “popular Japanese animation.” », where young anime fans had the opportunity to explore their creative potential in drawing and coloring anime characters full of different emotions and expressions.

Young anime lovers spent an exceptional artistic night in a distinguished family atmosphere, to the music of pianist Mahmoud Ehab and guitarist ATS, who presented clips from the soundtracks for famous anime programs, the most prominent of which was the song “Shinzo Sasago” from the program “Attack on Titan” (Attack on the Titans). ), and the two songs “Sadneys and Soro” (Sadness and Sorrow), and “Jiraiya Osei” from the “Naruto” program.
