On the morning of the 12th, there was an accident on the JR Takasaki Line in Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture, where a train collided with a bicycle placed on the track, which had the effect of suspending driving for about two hours.

No one was injured, but police are investigating the situation in detail as a malicious mischief.

Around 8 am on the 12th, a regular train on the JR Takasaki Line collided with a bicycle placed on the railroad track while traveling between Miyahara Station and Ageo Station in Saitama City.



There were about 800 people on the train, but no one was injured.



Due to this accident, the Takasaki Line was on the entire line between Tokyo Station and Takasaki Station, and the Shonan-Shinjuku Line was also on the north section of Shinjuku Station, so we stopped driving for about two hours.



According to the police, the prefectural road runs across the railroad track near the site where the bicycle is placed, and there is a fence about 1 meter high beside the railroad track.



The police are investigating the detailed situation as a malicious mischief such as someone throwing a bicycle.
