Sui Ruwen, deputy mayor of Qingdao Municipal Government, said that from 12:00 on March 10 to 12:00 on March 11, there were 109 new confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia in Laixi (8 of which were asymptomatic infections turned into confirmed cases), 264 asymptomatic infections.
Sui Ruwen said that since the outbreak of the Lacey epidemic on March 4, as of 12:00 on March 11, the Lacey epidemic has reported a total of 413 confirmed cases and 728 asymptomatic infections.
Among the confirmed cases, 279 are students, 37 are teachers, and 97 are key groups.
Sui Ruwen said that at present, all confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections have been transferred to designated hospitals. Under the guidance of national, provincial and municipal expert groups, scientific and precise treatment has been given. All patients are in stable condition and emotional stability.
Jiang Fachun, deputy director of the Qingdao Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said that since the outbreak of the epidemic, it is still within the common incubation period for people infected with new coronary pneumonia, and it is still a relatively common incubation period within seven or eight days.
Jiang Fachun said that after a comprehensive analysis and judgment, the inflection point of the epidemic in Laixi will soon come, and we are confident that we will achieve dynamic clearing of personnel in the closed and controlled areas, control areas and society in a short period of time.
