At the meeting, Jiang Fachun, deputy director of the Qingdao Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said that the inflection point of the epidemic in Lacey will soon come.
At the press conference, when asked about the reasons for the rapid increase in the number of confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections in the past two days, Jiang Fachun said that since the outbreak of the epidemic, this period is still within the common incubation period of new coronary pneumonia infections. Eight days is still a relatively common incubation period.
By increasing the density of nucleic acid testing, people with positive nucleic acid testing were screened, and the expert team combined epidemiological history, clinical manifestations and laboratory test results to diagnose confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections.
Jiang Fachun said that the vast majority of these confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections were detected in centralized isolation points, and a few were detected in closed control areas, control areas and prevention areas.
This shows that the division, management and monitoring of the enclosed and controlled areas, management and control areas, and prevention areas are scientific and effective, and have played a very good role.
Jiang Fachun said that after a comprehensive analysis and judgment, the inflection point of the epidemic in Laixi will soon come, and we are confident that we will achieve dynamic clearing of personnel in the closed and controlled areas, control areas and society in a short period of time.
On March 10, Laixi City launched the fifth round of nucleic acid testing for all employees. All 520,994 people have been sampled, and a total of 11 positive cases have been detected. Strictly implement control measures for those who have tested positive and key groups such as close contacts and sub-close contacts.
At present, the sixth round of nucleic acid testing for all staff in Laixi City has been launched.
From 12:00 on March 10th to 12:00 on the 11th, the Lacey epidemic added 109 new confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia (8 of which were asymptomatic infections converted to confirmed cases) and 264 asymptomatic infections.
Since the outbreak of the Lacey epidemic on March 4, as of 12:00 on March 11, the Lacey epidemic has reported a total of 413 confirmed cases and 728 asymptomatic infections.
Among the confirmed cases, 279 are students, 37 are teachers, and 97 are key groups.
At present, all confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections have been transferred to designated hospitals. Under the guidance of national, provincial and municipal expert groups, scientific and precise treatment has been given. All patients are in stable condition and emotional stability.
