Yamagata Prefecture announced on the 10th that it was confirmed that 260 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The cumulative total of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture was 13,746.
Also, according to the prefecture, one person who was confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus died.
A total of 75 people died after being infected with the new virus.
