Yamaguchi Prefecture and Shimonoseki City announced on the 9th that it was confirmed that 332 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 23,702 people have been confirmed to be infected in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
The prefecture and Shimonoseki City also announced that three men and women in their 80s and 90s have died.
The number of people who died after being infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture has increased to 147.
