[Commentary] There are 8 participating teams in the Paralympic ice hockey competition. Since none of the other 7 teams signed up for female players, Yu Jing became the only female ice hockey player.
She is also the third female athlete in history to compete in Paralympic ice hockey at the Winter Paralympics.
