Miyagi Prefecture and Sendai City announced on the 9th that 743 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
Sendai City also announced that two people had died.
The total number of infected people in Miyagi prefecture was 46,200, and the total number of people who died was 156.
