From the 9th, an event will be held in Sendai, with the theme of "I will never forget March 11th", and photos that continue to record the changes in the Yuriage district of Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture, and the experiences of the victims. It started in the city.

The event is held every year around March 11th at Sendai Mediatheque in Aoba Ward, Sendai City, in an attempt to prevent the weathering of the earthquake and to disseminate the progress of reconstruction.

Of these, the photo exhibition entitled "Mt. Hiyori Monthly Report" was exhibited by Yasumi Sato (69), who was the deputy director of this facility at the time of the earthquake, for 11 years from Mt. Hiyori in the Yuriage district of Natori City. Approximately 1,200 photos that have been recorded are introduced in slide shows.



In her first photo taken in May 2011, you can see the horror of the tsunami, and by taking fixed-point shots, the demolition of the building progressed, ships and people gathered in the sea again, and the progress of reconstruction was also taken. It will be transmitted.



In addition, at the booth that introduced the experiences of about 70 people who were affected by the disaster by voice and panel, "My home was washed away. It is an unimaginable sight, and on the contrary, there is no sense of reality." It has been.



A woman in her 70s in Sendai, who said she was affected by the disaster, said, "I feel like tears will come out when I see the exhibition. The number of people who do not know about the earthquake will increase in the future, so please continue this event. I want you to do it. "
