Yamaguchi Prefecture and Shimonoseki City announced on the 8th that it was confirmed that 398 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 23,370 people have been confirmed to be infected in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Shimonoseki City also announced that four men and women between the ages of 70 and 100 have died.
In Yamaguchi Prefecture, 144 people died after being infected with the new coronavirus.
