Ukrainian women living in France are struggling to welcome women and children stranded in a country at war.

A huge network of solidarity has developed.

Sofyia is 23 years old, she organized the repatriation from Ukraine of her cousin Louba accompanied by her two children traumatized by the war, to welcome her in her apartment in Asnières.

Since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, a great resistance movement has been organized in the population, since the people who take up arms directly to face the invader - the men choose to stay put - up to those who organize support networks within the country but also beyond.

Women play an important role, whether behind the lines where they provide decisive aid, by caring for the wounded, by preparing food, or even by going directly to the front, all are mobilized.
