It was reported at the meeting that the outbreak in Zhejiang Province this time has the following characteristics:
1. The strains involved in these 4 outbreaks are all Omicron variants.
2. According to the source of epidemiology, experts determined that the four outbreaks were independent outbreaks. Among them, a case in Cangnan, Wenzhou, had a history of contact with foreign items. The virus strains of the case and the imported items were highly homologous to the sequences uploaded abroad, and the source of the outbreak was infected. The biggest possibility is contact with foreign imports.
The cases in Jiaxing Jiashan and Hangzhou Binjiang have a recent history of activity in the cities where the medium and high risk areas are located outside the province; the cases in Hangzhou Shangcheng have sales of imported clothing, and the virus strains are highly homologous to the sequences uploaded abroad.
At present, the traceability work of the relevant flow regulation is still in active progress, and once there is further traceability results, it will be announced in time.
3. The transmission chain of these 4 epidemics is relatively clear, and the cases are all in the early stage of infection. At present, the nucleic acid test results of the risk groups are all negative, but the risk of community transmission and spread still needs to be highly concerned.
