“I am a legend” will have the right to a sequel with Will Smith

Against all odds, there will be a sequel to the blockbuster

As reported by the Deadline site, spotted in particular by

, the disaster film released in 2007 will be extended with a new component, with the presence of Will Smith.

Given the end of the first film (which we will not spoil), there should therefore be quite a twist.

As the American site specifies, the contours of this sequel remain unclear – we do not know the story of this new film, nor its director, nor its release date – with the exception of the arrival of Michael B. Jordan in the cast.

The two actors have also confirmed the information on their respective Instagram accounts.

Third adaptation of the eponymous novel by Richard Matheson,
