Every year, a day is held when thousands of voices around the world rise to celebrate women, their rights and demand gender equality.

We are indeed talking about March 8.
International Women's Day which raises awareness and mobilizes the population around the fight for women's rights, equality and justice.
It is also an opportunity to highlight initiatives that place women at the heart of the social, political and economic life of their countries, and where we are keen to recall their role as actors and driving forces of development.
Fortunately, many professionals, associations, foundations and institutions are not waiting for March 8 to defend their ideals and work in favor of women's rights.
This is the case of the International Organization of La Francophonie, which makes its resources available to women in need of help and support.
At its head since January 2019: Louise Mushikiwabo.
This strong woman, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Rwanda is the first African woman and second woman only to occupy this chair.
Many expectations rest on her shoulders as she decided to put women's rights at the heart of her action.
