Bernard Tapie opposed to the idea of a series on his life
Businessman, minister, actor, press boss and leader of Olympique de Marseille, Bernard Tapie, a time erected as a symbol of social success before being overtaken by legal troubles, died in early October of a cancer at the age of 78.
In June, in an interview with
Nice-Matin
and
Var-Matin
, he said he was opposed to the idea of a series about his life.
"I was against it.
[…] Doing it without asking me for my agreement in principle is not very good.
There are things we don't do.
That there are documentaries is another thing, but borrowing my name is a bit heavy, ”Bernard Tapie estimated.
