Regarding this issue, Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Saito said at a press conference after the Cabinet meeting on the 4th, "It should not be the case that the call button was not notified even if it was pressed," and instructed thorough prevention of recurrence. I made it clear.



In addition, as a result of an emergency inspection of the multi-functional toilet, Tokyo Metro found defects in 12 places but did not report them to the government.



Regarding this, Minister Saito said, "Regardless of railway accidents and transportation obstacles, we should report accidents related to the safety and security of railway facility users," and requested improvement.



The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has informed and alerted railway operators nationwide about this issue.
