On the second day of the second month of the lunar calendar, in Shuyuan Village, Qiankou Town, Huizhou District, Anhui Province, the villagers made a 12-meter-long straw dragon danced in the village, praying for the harvest.

Electronic lights are woven on the grass dragon, and the lights are flashing in the ancient alleys, attracting villagers and tourists to watch.

There are also many children holding "mini version" straw dragons to join the team and dance together.

It is understood that the "grass dancing dragon" in Shuyuan has a history of more than 300 years. The dragon's body is mainly made of straw, supplemented by moso bamboo as a bracket. In the production process, more than 10 kinds of crafts such as weaving, inserting, inlaying, and engraving are used.

In recent years, Shuyuan Village has regarded "Dancing Grass Dragon" as a key cultural industry for rural revitalization. By improving the production process and launching cultural and creative products such as "Little Grass Dragon", it has won both social and economic benefits.
