An Egyptian movie pulled from theaters... its revenues are only $9 a day!

In a frightening decline, the movie "His Excellency Mama" earned only 130 Egyptian pounds (about $9) last Tuesday in theaters.

The decline in the movie's revenues led to it being removed from the theaters, and its showing lasted for nearly 3 weeks, and was satisfied with a total of only 217,000 pounds, according to the "Al-Masry Al-Youm" website.

It is noteworthy that the events of "His Excellency Mama" revolve in a comic social framework through the mother's relationship with her children, in light of the presence of other responsibilities surrounding her.

The work is starring Bushra and Mahmoud El-Leithi, and a group of young actors such as Nour Ihab, Salim Turk, famous for Soli, and the child Yassin, son of the late artist Ghinwa, sister of Angham, and a number of stars, including Sami Maghawry, Nour Qadri, Alaa Morsi, Hossam Dagher, Mohamed Ali Rizk, Sherif Baher, and Taher Abu Laila and Ismail Sharaf, Doaa Ragab, and a number of rising stars, including Reham Al-Shanawani and Raghad Jalal, directed by Ahmed Nour.
