"Political intent to defame Shah Rukh Khan" .. Indian star joins sympathizers with the case of Aryan Khan

Since Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, was arrested in a drug case last year, Indian figures have said the arrest was politically motivated.

This hypothesis was supported by many, including parliamentarians and celebrities.

India's Malayalam movie star Tofino Thomas joined this list, and said in a recent interview that the whole affair was an attempt to damage the reputation of SRK and his son Aryan.

In an interview with Bollywood Hengma, Tofino stated that Aryan's reputation had been affected, adding, "That was their intention. That was the goal, I think, based on what we know now, there was a political intent to destroy the reputation of SRK and his son. I'm not saying that. But it appears to be so."

According to a news source, the DEA's Special Investigations team failed to prove any evidence of Aryan's involvement in the case, however, the source later confirmed that this does not mean that he is innocent.

Almost a decade ago, Tofino appeared in Malayalam films.

And last year, the role of superhero Minal Murali, who was groped by Tofino, was a huge hit, with critics and audiences alike praising his Netflix movie, which propelled the actor away from Malayalam business.
