The curtain has just fallen on nearly eight years of marriage between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

If the information has been known for a while, this time it is officially recorded by the courts.

A Los Angeles judge pronounced their divorce on Wednesday.

The reality star appeared in court via the internet but Kanye West was only represented in court by his lawyer, who did not object to the dissolution of the marriage.

Until then, the rapper, who officially obtained to change his marital status to "Ye", opposed this separation and had called Kim Kardashian for reconciliation on social networks on several occasions.

Ye's Bipolar Disorders

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce last year after months of rumors in the press about her marital difficulties and the rapper's psychological problems.

“I really want to be divorced,” she also wrote in a statement sent last week to the court asking it to speed up the procedure.

“I believe that if the court ends our marriage, it will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over and to move on” so that we can “peacefully raise our children”, underlined this declaration.

The couple have four children: two girls, North and Chicago (8 and 4 years old respectively) and two boys, Saint and Psalm (6 and 2 years old).

The two stars, who started dating in 2012 and married in Italy two years later, quickly became one of the hottest couples in the world.

But their union was particularly undermined by the unpredictable outbursts of Ye, who suffers from bipolar disorder.
