For or against the attack on Ukraine by Russia?

Yesterday at the UN General Assembly, 141 out of 193 countries voted against it.

But out of these 141 countries, there were only 28 African countries.

With the exception of Eritrea, which voted for the invasion, the other African countries abstained or did not take part in the vote.

This is proof that this war divides Africans.

Claude Assira is a lawyer at the Cameroon Bar and teaches law at the Catholic University of Central Africa.

He has just published a column against the “poutinophiles”.

Online from Yaoundé, he delivers his analysis at the microphone of Christophe Boisbouvier.
