[Explanation] In recent years, Shaanxi has done a lot of work in the protection of rare wild animals such as the giant panda, crested ibis, golden monkey, and takin in the Qinling Mountains, and rare wild plants in the Qinling Mountains such as yew, dove tree, and unifolium, so that the endangerment level has been alleviated.
However, due to various factors, the protection of rare wild animals and plants in Qinling still faces a series of difficulties and difficulties.
Zan Linsen, a deputy to the National People's Congress and deputy director of the Shaanxi Provincial Forestry Bureau, who is investigating the Qinling Four Treasures Science Park, is particularly concerned about the ecological protection of the Qinling Mountains in Shaanxi Province and the protection of rare wild animals and plants.
Among them, in 2021, Zan Linsen once again submitted the "Proposal on Accelerating the Construction of Qinling National Park", which effectively promoted the approval of the establishment of Qinling National Park and further improved the protection management system.

The approval of the Qinling National Park means that from the national level, the protection of the Qinling Mountains has been first raised to the national level. With the construction of the Giant Panda National Park approved earlier, we will protect biodiversity better.
[Explanation] It is reported that since Zan Linsen was elected as a deputy to the 13th National People's Congress in 2018, he has submitted more than 60 proposals for poverty alleviation, seed industry innovation, and ecological protection.
Before the Two Sessions this year, Zan Linsen conducted intensive research and improved the proposal.
He said that he is ready to continue to submit more than ten proposals on the protection of rare wild animals and plants in the Qinling Mountains, the high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, and food security.

This year, I will still focus on the ecological protection of the Qinling Mountains and the protection of biological diversity. At the same time, I will continue to pay attention to the high-quality development and ecological restoration of the Yellow River Basin. In particular, we must prevent alien species from harming us. The impact of the forestry and grass industry is another one that revolves around forest health, rural revitalization, and our food security.
[Explanation] It is understood that wild animals and plants are an important part of the natural ecosystem and an indispensable strategic resource to ensure sustainable economic and social development.
At present, there are still some shortcomings and weaknesses in the ecological space of Qinling Mountains and even Shaanxi. Among them, the contradiction between protection and development is still relatively prominent. How to make the two "sustainable development" is also the direction of Zan Linsen's attention this time.

This kind of biodiversity, for the time being, seems to have little impact on our human life and economy, but many of its values are potential. If you are fishing now, you don't pay attention to it and don't protect it. When you need it, when you think about it, you can’t connect, so I think, in this case, when we pay special attention to the construction of ecological civilization and the protection of the Qinling Mountains, we must put biodiversity Sex, the gene pool must be preserved.
[Explanation] Zan Linsen said that Qinling has 3,883 species of seed plants and 587 species of terrestrial vertebrates, and is a priority area for biodiversity conservation in China.
It is hoped that through the proposal, the protection of rare wild animals and plants in the Qinling Mountains will be further strengthened, the authenticity and integrity of the natural ecosystem of the Qinling Mountains will be protected to the greatest extent, and the natural heritage will be left to future generations.
