Philippe Katerine is a protean and multi-talented dandy artist.

He returns, this time, with a book and an exhibition entitled “Mignonisme”.

An artistic current born at the border of Dadaism and Surrealism.

On the program of this double news, bubble-gum pink XXL sculptures, quirky humorous drawings and exclusive concerts.

His mustache is one of the most famous in French cinema.

Crowned with a César for best actor in a supporting role, this quirky dandy plunged into the deep end, almost 30 years ago.

Moreover, he will celebrate this anniversary soon at the Olympia.

But, if

Philippe Katerine

is an actor and director, author, composer, singer and lyricist, he is also a sculptor and draftsman.

For children, but also for adults, although with him his child's soul is always out.

Here is proof of this in the “Mignonisme” whose therapeutic benefits he promotes through a book and an exhibition, and of which he will expose the contours and detours, and perhaps the returns.

The book “Mignonisme” is available from Helium editions.

A publication accompanied by a visible exhibition at the "Bon Marché", in Paris until April 24, 2022.

Report:

In Cotonou, the 26 treasures of the ancient kingdom of Abomey have been returned by France.

They have been shown since Sunday February 20, 2022 at the Palais de la Marina.

An exhibition entitled "Art of Benin, yesterday and today, from restitution to revelation" that

Delphine Bousquet

visited.
