Last year, a series of accidents occurred in Gifu and Nagano prefectures over the construction of the Linear Chuo Shinkansen, killing and injuring a total of three people.

According to JR Central, at around 4:40 pm on the 1st, at the construction site of the "Daiichi Chukyo Area Tunnel" of the Linear Chuo Shinkansen in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture, concrete pieces sprayed on the cross section to reinforce the excavated part , It fell off in an area of ​​about 2 square meters.



At that time, there were seven workers at the site, and a piece of concrete hit the right shoulder of a male worker in his 40s, causing injuries such as breaking ribs.



JR Tokai is currently suspending tunnel construction in this section, and plans to resume it after investigating the cause of the accident and taking safety measures.



Regarding the construction of the Linear Chuo Shinkansen, accidents occurred one after another in Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture and Toyooka Village, Nagano Prefecture last year, killing and injuring a total of three people.
