Not a hamlet in our country was unknown to him.

Not one tradition of our lands was foreign to him.

Territorial France is losing that familiar voice and that reassuring face that spoke so well of her and knew how to speak to her so well.

We already miss Jean-Pierre Pernaut.

He had made a point of chairing Miss France in December.. Despite the fatigue he hid.. he didn't talk about it.. My friend JPP made for years the news that the French loved.

And that the intelligentsia taunted. Deep France is a widow. And we are all very sad.

"Thank you for your kindness and your benevolence. All French people will miss you. All my thoughts to Nathalie and all her family who love her so much", declared Camille Combal, host of the TF1 group since 2018. If Jean-Pierre Pernaut was presenter of the JT of 13H of TF1, Michel Denisot was him the star of the competing channel Canal + with the big newspaper.

He wrote: "How sad. Jean-Pierre Pernault was a colleague at the 1 p.m. newspaper during the Yves Mourousi period, then he managed a singular and long journey by being himself."
