Great professional rigor

"What will remain is his hello and especially not his goodbye," says Jean-Luc Reichmann, very moved.

"It's also his blue sky in his eyes. It's his shining eye and his smile. And above all, it was a professionalism and a humanity, Jean-Pierre, which exceeds anything you can even imagine with with this professional rigour".

“He liked to listen to people”

For journalist Marie-Laure Augrey, Jean-Pierre Pernaut was a "fighter".

"He was like he was on the air", she underlines at the microphone of Europe 1. "Rather good living, very attached to his roots. He wanted some. He was voluntary. He was a fighter. He could have little outbursts from time to time. But because the pressure is there too, he was very popular with the viewers."

For his part, the presenter of Koh-Lanta Denis Brogniart will remember the "ability of Jean-Pierre to go to people's homes at 1 p.m. every day. He is the only one to have done that. He succeeded. He liked to listen people. He liked to talk with people."
