The Fire and Disaster Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications reports on 52 fire departments nationwide, including the fire department where the prefectural office is located, as "cases where transportation is difficult", such as cases where there were four or more inquiries to the hospital before the destination of the patient was decided. In the week up to the 27th, there were 5204 cases, a decrease of 860 cases from 6064 cases in the previous week, which was the highest number ever.



It is the first time in about two and a half months since December last year that it has fallen below the previous week.



By region, there were 2549 cases in Tokyo, 551 cases in Osaka City, 396 cases in Yokohama City, 189 cases in Chiba City, 167 cases in Saitama City, and 158 cases in Sapporo City.



Compared to the same period before the spread of the new coronavirus, Yokohama city was 6.6 times, Saitama city was 5.1 times, Tokyo was 4.7 times, Osaka city was 4.3 times, Sapporo city was 3.2 times, and Chiba city was 2.4 times. The situation continues to be high in various places.



The number of suspected cases of coronavirus infection was 1614, which was lower than the previous week, but remains high at 31% of the total.
