The fisherman is currently injured. He is out of danger and is receiving further treatment at the hospital.

At about 0:30 a.m. on February 27, the second workstation of Wanning, Hainan Qionghai Coast Guard Bureau received an alarm from the public saying that a fisherman slipped and fell while fishing in the Longgun waters of Gangbei Port, Wanning City. The winch broke four toes on the left foot, and the blood flowed nonstop.

After receiving the alarm, the Wanning Second Workstation of Qionghai Maritime Police Station immediately activated the marine emergency rescue mechanism, dispatched rescue ships to the scene as soon as possible, and contacted Wanning Medical Emergency Center to arrange ambulances to wait at the dock.

At the same time, maintain telephone contact with the fishing boat involved, grasp the location information of the fishing boat in real time, soothe the fishermen's anxiety and instruct other crew members of the boat to conduct simple medical treatment for the injured fishermen.

Coast Guard law enforcement officers used loudspeaker shouting, light search, real-time positioning and other methods to search.

In the end, the rescue fishing boat was successfully found and the injured fishermen were transferred to the rescue boat.

Subsequently, the marine police personnel immediately took a series of first aid measures such as disinfection, bandaging and blood pressure measurement on the injured fishermen.

At 3:00 a.m., the Coast Guard rescue ship successfully berthed at the Beigang Wharf, and transferred the injured fishermen to the ambulance that was already waiting at the wharf, and sent them to the hospital for treatment.
