Recently, on the occasion of the New Year of the Tiger in the Tibetan Calendar, the Photographers Association of Tibet Autonomous Region, the Photographers Association of Lhasa City and the Photographers Branch of Mozhugongka County, Lhasa jointly launched a "Photographers in Chikang Village" in Chikang Village, Jiama Township, Mozhugongka County, Lhasa City. Village households to shoot 'family portrait' to serve the masses" activity.
In Chikang Village Committee, 6 photographers were divided into four groups and went door-to-door to take family photos with the assistance of village committee members. They provided free printing and collected photos on the spot.
When the villagers learned that a professional photography teacher came to take a family photo, the villagers immediately dressed up and asked the photographer to record their happy life and simple smiles.
The event brought a warm, joyful and peaceful festive atmosphere to the village. The Photographers Association presented more than 80 family photos and 135 ID photos.
