The Internet is also an almost inexhaustible treasure trove for hobby cooks.

There really is a multitude of suggestions and recipes for every taste – no matter how odd it may be.

However, one thing is often annoying with the latter: the actually relevant content, namely the list of ingredients together with quantities and specific preparation instructions, often has to be laboriously searched for between superfluous chatter, photos, advertising, requests to subscribe to newsletters and similar rubbish.

But there is a remedy, but currently only for English-language recipe pages.

The Just the Recipe website, or more specifically https://www.justtherecipe.com/, allows you to copy/paste the URL to any English language recipe on the internet.

The online tool then scans the website, selects the information that is really needed with amazing reliability and lists it clearly.

As a test run, you can have a look at https://www.indianhealthyrecipes.com/chicken-curry/ in the original for fun: Here the friend of Indian curry cuisine gets a veritable spasm in the scroll wheel finger - the website has glossy pictures, but it's also incredibly long.

Now if you enter this URL at https://www.justtherecipe.com/,

you will receive a concise and clear presentation, which you can also save or print out if you wish.

Well then: good luck and bon appétit!

Now our riddle:

A Middle High German word that is reminiscent of a male railway worker also stands for a valuable spice.

Which spice do you mean?
