As a writer, for me, Dongting Lake is undoubtedly the most powerful and emotional blessed land.
It grows all things, and also grows desires and hearts.
Perhaps what I've been guilty of all my life is that I've taken so much from this land and haven't had anything in return.
I want to "create" a future out of water, where there is the most honest trust and reliance on this land.
The connotation of water and the personnel and affairs on the lake are far more complicated than what we see and hear.
In looking at the water, I see people clearly, and I also see myself clearly.
