In Houling Village of Hanlin Town, Ding'an, Hainan, there is an ancient banyan tree so huge that it can be called "a single tree becomes a forest", which is a unique local landscape.
The ancient banyan tree is 800 years old, like an open green umbrella.
The whole banyan tree has as many as 262 trunks connected to the ground, covering a length of 72 meters from north to south and 78 meters from east to west. It covers an area of 9.8 acres and is known as the "Asian Banyan King", attracting many tourists every year.
