  Duan Nonggen, director of the Research Office of the Supreme People's Court, said at a press conference that the Arbitration Preservation Arrangement clarifies the types of preservation that can be taken, the applicable arbitration procedures, and the stages of applying for preservation.

  When introducing the innovative highlights, he said that the Arbitration Preservation Arrangement further extends the mutual assistance to the pre-arbitration and arbitration, and promotes the full coverage of mutual assistance in the field of arbitration between the Mainland and Macao.

  Duan Nonggen said that the Arbitration Preservation Arrangement will include all arbitration institutions established in accordance with Macau laws, which "reflects the central government's strong support for Macau's arbitration industry and Macau's legal service industry."
