Shiga Prefecture announced on the 25th that it was confirmed that 1,200 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It was the third highest number of infected people in Shiga prefecture per day.
Two deaths were confirmed, including women in their 90s and older and men in their 80s.
As a result, a total of 46,548 people have been confirmed infected in the prefecture, and 133 people have died.
