The mobilization of farmers is not weakening in Brittany.
After several actions in recent weeks, around 150 tractors calmly invaded the city center of Quimper to demand better remuneration for their work as their loads continue to increase.
The agricultural machinery parked in the large square in front of the Finistère prefecture on the occasion of this gathering, organized at the call of the FDSEA and the Young Farmers.
There are about 140 tractors for 200 farmers at the place de la Résistance in Quimper.

This "mass demonstration" was intended to "support our demands vis-à-vis the state", explained the president of the FDSEA of Finistère Jean-Alain Divanac'h.

"We've been protesting for ten years, now that's enough, we want prizes right away," said Benoît Duval, a milk producer from Rosporden during a speech by union leaders.
“Our production costs are completely disconnected from reality, they are soaring but selling prices are still at their lowest.
It is no longer tenable,” explained Nicolas Simon, a pig breeder in Plouvorn, in northern Finistère.
“We are subject to all the global hazards, we can no longer bear that”, assured this breeder of 450 sows, saying that he is currently losing nearly 30,000 euros each month.
