On February 25, 1912, People's Artist of the USSR Vsevolod Sanaev was born. All-Union fame was brought to him by a detective trilogy about the police, including the films The Return of St. Luke, The Black Prince and Colonel Zorin's Version. The actor also starred in several films by Vasily Shukshin, played in the films Shirley Myrli, White Dew, Forgotten Melody for Flute.
