In Poland, a new subject entitled "History and present" should appear at the start of the 2022 school year, replacing the civic education courses.

A matter that raises many concerns among the country's historians.

The ruling conservative National Party is accused of wanting to take control of Polish schools.

A new law on education, currently on the desk of President Duda, plans to strengthen the power of school superintendents, under the control of the Ministry of Education, in particular by controlling associations invited to schools.
