Matt Hutchins, the husband of the cinematographer killed in an accident on the set of

Rust

, felt "so mad" at Alec Baldwin after his interview with ABC News.

The widower did not support the victim attitude of the actor when he delivered his interpretation of the facts, in December 2021.

"It almost looks like he was the victim," he told journalist Hoda Kotb, as relayed by CNN.

Responsible

While the investigation of the office of the sheriff of the county of Santa Fe (United States) continues and that no questioning has been pronounced, Matt Hutchins considers that there are necessarily responsible.

“The idea that the person holding the gun and causing it to discharge is not responsible is absurd to me.

But gun safety wasn't the only issue on this set.

A number of professional standards have not been met, and there are multiple people responsible,” he said.

Halyna Hutchins' family has also filed a civil complaint against Alec Baldwin, following those filed by members of the film crew.

The weapon was supposed to be loaded blank and it has not been established, until now, why this was not the case.

The criminal investigation is still ongoing.
