As everywhere in France, the Oise records a spectacular drop in cases of Covid-19.

As of February 20, over seven rolling days, the incidence rate reached 579 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, its lowest level since the end of December, reports Actu Oise.

Dizzying drop in daily incidence rate

And the trend is clearly downward.

The daily incidence rate, still on February 20, was 20.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants after peaking at nearly 800 cases at the end of January.

The occupation of hospital beds is also decreasing, with 406 patients hospitalized due to Covid-19, against 421 on February 13.

29 of them were taken care of in an intensive care unit.
