A hundred attacks on journalists in three years

The

Envoyé Spécial

team had filmed this attack and the sequence had been broadcast within the report.

The attack did not result in serious injuries, but Thomas Guery, the cameraman, suffered from back pain for several months after the events.

In the trial against this farmer, three journalists' unions, the SNJ, the SNJ-CGT and the CFDT-Journalistes, also filed a civil action.

It should be noted that, for three years, the unions have recorded around a hundred attacks on journalists in France.

Attacks which took place in particular during the demonstrations against the Labor law, those of the Yellow Vests and the anti-sanitary pass demonstrations.
