"I am more concerned about how art can be integrated into the people and into our lives in addition to art itself." Associate professor of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, director of the Department of Environmental Art of Guangmei City College, Mo Bingru Lei Xiaozhou said in an interview with reporters at the opening ceremony of the "Wan Xiang" Mo Bingru Experimental Works Exhibition" curated by Lei Xiaozhou.

On the same day, the opening ceremony of the "Wan Xiang" Mobingru Experimental Works Exhibition" was held in the exhibition hall of the Guangdong Provincial Cultural Center, attracting a number of artists, celebrities in the literary and art circles and the public to participate.

According to Mo Bingru, this exhibition is one of the series of activities of the Guangdong Provincial Cultural Center "I hold an exhibition in the cultural center". A total of 66 works are displayed on site, focusing on virtual and real, yang and yin, space and time, objects and materials, etc. In the direction, the creative motif of the work is mainly derived from all things in nature, reflecting the connection between man and nature, and showing his recent creative achievements on ink and wash experiments.

"I try to construct a new form of painting language in the ink painting experiment, which is intended to condense the essence of the era of ink painting culture and its spirit, and to show the thought and spirit of 'the feelings of the earth, the mutual benefit of heaven and man, the depth and transparency of the sky and the terrain'." Bingru told reporters that this exhibition fully presents his exploration of pursuing innovation in the era of ink painting through four sections: experimental ink painting, acrylic abstract works, abstract experimental ink painting works and experimental ink painting art derivatives.

As soon as the reporter walked into the exhibition site, they were attracted by the huge brown ink canvas in the middle of the exhibition hall. The two ends of the exhibit hang on the ceiling and hang down naturally in an arc shape, giving people a visual impact and attracting many people to take photos and "punch in". ".

Mo Bingru explained that the exhibit is a derivative of experimental ink wash art. It is some art derivative made by them through artistic creation, so that people can not only appreciate art in the exhibition hall, but also go out to the hotel, office building or office after walking out of the exhibition hall. Space sees art, touches art.

Mo Bingru told reporters that the derivative works of experimental ink painting are also one of the highlights of this exhibition.

She hopes to "make art life and life art" through art derivatives, and strive to make art go out of the ivory tower and truly integrate into people's daily life, so that contemporary art exhibitions and activities become an important way to communicate art and public life .

"This work uses a brand-new ink painting to express the author's innermost natural 'Wan·xiang', trying to create an innovative road of ink painting from figurative to imagery to abstraction." Curator Lei Xiaozhou said, Ink and wash has always been regarded by the outside world as an artistic medium with oriental characteristics, but it is rarely associated with modern painting.

Mo Bingru believes that it is the mission of art workers in the new era to realize the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture.

For creators and practitioners in the field of traditional art, condensing the essence of traditional culture and developing its spirit innovatively has become the pursuit of the times.
