Six public facilities in Clichy (Hauts-de-Seine) have been equipped with periodic protection dispensers.

The devices are present at the Léo-Délibes conservatory, at the Aimé-Césaire association house, at the Alexandre-Dumas teen club, at the Henri-Barbusse gymnasium, at the Gérard-Durant swimming pool and at the Jean-d'Ormesson media library, details

The operation costs 8,900 euros, including 7,000 euros from the Clichy Mécénat territorial endowment fund.

It was worn by municipal councilors Caroline Mercier and Imane Achour.

The sites were chosen for the number of girls and women they host.

High schools in Ile-de-France already offer this type of distributor.

A taboo topic "

The Clichy cameras were manufactured by the Breton company Marguerite et Cie.

The latter is already working with the departments of Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-de-Marne on a college equipment project.

“It is a social and public health subject that remains taboo, but communities are now able to act,” assured Caroline Mercier.
