A healthy surprise for washing dishes .. reduces the risk of fatal disease!

A recent study said that the vast majority of strokes can be avoided.

The researchers identified a number of daily activities that can reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke by 30 percent. Surprisingly, among them, the daily routine of washing dishes that many women do in their homes.

According to a report published by the British newspaper “Express”, most strokes occur when a blood clot blocks an artery, preventing nutrient-rich blood from reaching the brain, and the first signs of this blockage include sudden confusion and imbalance on one side of the body. Heart healthy habits can go a long way to protecting the brain from such problems.

A body of research has highlighted a number of activities that can reduce the risk of strokes.

According to the NHS, the best way to prevent stroke is to eat a healthy diet, exercise regularly and avoid smoking and alcohol.

Exercise directly reduces the risk of stroke by keeping the blood vessels leading to the brain healthy, and research shows that getting at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise a week reduces stroke risk factors, such as high blood pressure and obesity.

The study was conducted on 5,500 women, who were asked to carry a movement tracker for a week, and the study published by "Express" included data on activity levels for women aged between 63 and 97 years who did not have heart disease at the beginning of the study.

During the study period conducted by the University of California, 616 women were diagnosed with cardiovascular disease, 253 of whom had a stroke, and the results showed that participants who regularly washed dishes, cleaned their homes and cooked food themselves, had better health compared to those who did not perform such tasks regularly.

The researchers found that compared to those who did just two hours of movement each day, those who did four hours had a 30% lower risk of stroke.

Four hours of daily movement also seemed to reduce the risk of coronary heart disease and cardiovascular disease by 43 percent.

What's more, participants who exercised daily for at least four hours had a 62 percent lower chance of dying from cardiovascular disease, compared to those who exercised less than two hours.

Dr Steve Nguyen, author of the research, said: “The study shows that all movements are important for disease prevention, and spending more time in the movement of daily living, which includes the wide range of activities we all do while standing, leads to a lower risk of cardiovascular disease. bloody."

The study bolsters previous research suggesting that careful exercise is essential to maintaining a healthy heart and brain.
