China News Agency, Wuhan, February 21. The Wuhan New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters reported on the evening of the 21st that three people who came to China from other places and one close contact that afternoon tested positive for the new coronavirus.
The Wuhan Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters immediately activated the emergency response mechanism, comprehensively carried out epidemiological investigations, relevant personnel screening, sampling and testing, and isolation control, and implemented epidemic prevention measures such as terminal disinfection of relevant places and environments.
According to reports, as of now, 4 positive cases have been transferred to Jinyintan Hospital for isolation and treatment, and all the traced close contacts have been quarantined and observed. The community, Tongxin Garden in Jiang'an District, and Tianyue Community in Poly Times of Donghu High-tech Zone have implemented closure and control management. The areas involved in close contact and sub-close contact of positive cases have been closed and controlled, and nucleic acid testing has been carried out quickly.
The report stated that the nucleic acid test results of environmental samples from the sealed and controlled areas that had been sampled were all negative.
The investigation of other close and sub-close connections is being carried out in an orderly manner.
