How to take care of your hair on a daily basis?

François Laly works as a hairdresser.

He explains in Bienfait pour vous this Monday what are the right things to do to have healthy hair and what shampoos to apply according to your hair type.

We take stock.

It's a headache to sometimes pull the hair out: how to take care of your hair on a daily basis?

Curly, straight, bleached, thin or thick... Each type of hair requires special treatment.

François Laly is a hairdresser.

He explains in Bienfait pour vous, on Europe 1, how to keep your hair healthy.

And the choice of your shampoo is essential.

"It's important because they will respond to a problem. Someone with oily hair will use a clay-based shampoo more, which will absorb the oil in the hair a little and also regulate the sebaceous gland. (…) It makes the hair a little dry, a little bit rough, so we like to put something a little softer behind you to soften it.

And if you want to adopt the secrets of hairdressers, make two shampoos: the first is cleansing, the second treating.

Should you wash your hair every day if it is oily?

No, this will not solve your problem.

"It amplifies the phenomenon, because the sebaceous gland is active every day. It grows, because the hair proliferates. The scalp produces oil to protect our hair."

If your body produces a lot of it, it means it needs this protection.

François Laly adds: "Someone who is in overproduction knows that his skin has a little problem and asks for additional protection."

How many times a week should you wash your hair?

A rhythm of three days a week is recommended.

"If we hold once a week, it's even better since we leave the natural protection of the hair", explains François Laly.

Some lucky kids never have greasy hair, even if they don't wash it.

Wash your hair in cold water or hot water?

Both.

Hot water will open the scales of the hair, thus making the products penetrate more quickly and cold water will close them and make the hair shinier.

And if you are chilly, rest assured: no need to apply it to the scalp.

"No need to go to the roots, but at least on the half lengths and ends, it's not bad."
