David Pujadas did not like seeing his image used for campaign purposes.

In a video clip broadcast on Saturday by Samuel Lafont, in charge of the digital strategy of the far-right candidate Eric Zemmour, we can see the journalist announcing the victory in the second round of the former polemicist of Laurent Ruquier.

“Eric Zemmour elected President of the Republic with 51.90% of the vote, look at these images of joy, this clamor of the thousands of supporters in the street…”, we hear in the video through the voice of David Pujadas.

The latter clearly did not appreciate this approach and made it known this Sunday on Twitter.

“Thank you ZemmourTV for not using my image for your political-fiction montages.

So thank you for removing this video which puts me in the scene, “he wrote, mentioning Samuel Lafont.

This is not the first time that a campaign clip from Eric Zemmour has caused a stir.

Last fall, the video posted on his YouTube channel to formalize his presidential candidacy created controversy for having used unauthorized images of media and public figures.
