According to a statement by the Central Agency, it indicated that reaching this number tomorrow means that a population increase of one million people has been achieved within 232 days, that is, 7 months and 22 days (the difference between the numbers of births and deaths).
The agency, which is the only official body responsible for statistics in Egypt, stated that the population had reached 102 million on Monday, July 5, according to what was announced by the Population Clock of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics linked to the births and death registration database at the Ministry of Health and Population. its time.
The agency pointed out that this means that there is a daily increase in the population in Egypt, amounting to 4,310 people, or 179.6 people every hour, or 3 people every minute, which means that the time taken to increase an individual is approximately 20 seconds.
