Shanghai Cinema City, a landmark of Shanghai cinema, will temporarily bid farewell to movie fans from February 21, and will be renovated and upgraded.
On February 20, many movie fans rushed to watch the movie on the last weekend before the renovation and punched in as a souvenir.
On the same day, all the movies in Shanghai Cinemas throughout the day will be rewarded to fans with a unified ticket price of 31 yuan to commemorate the 31 years of Shanghai Cinema and the vast number of movie fans who have shared the light and shadow event together.
Built in 1991, Shanghai Cinema is the first five-star cinema in Shanghai and the main venue of previous Shanghai International Film Festivals.
