is a breath of fresh air.

The minimal but important lives of Daisy Haggard's characters are intimate and magnificent television.

With her screenwriting debut, Haggard has hit the nail on the head.

is the first series written by this London actress.

Who'd say.

If she came backed by some big script, it would make sense.

But the person in charge of

Because it's never too late.

Along with the more experienced Laura Solon, Haggard signs all 12 episodes of the series.

Two short seasons that revolve around

The premise is not new, the approach is.

Miri, played by Haggard herself, returns to a place that is the same one she left and is inhabited by the same people she said goodbye to, but everything is different.

The people and the life with which she is reunited have lived through 18 years of evolution and decline.

During that time she has lived in a prison limbo in which the passage of time was both very slow and none.

The Miri that Miri finds in the mirror when she regains her freedom is a woman who has spent

But Miri is brave.

In its own way, which is the way of

, the way of the little things and the minuscule battles of everyday life.

Although she does not know it, Miri has something that the others do not: the certainty that the passage of time is a steamroller against which it is impossible to fight.

She knows that she cannot

The stay in prison of the protagonist of

was not the culmination of a juvenile criminal career, but the consequence of a host of bad decisions that led to fatality.
