Last June, Amal Maher announced her retirement and completely away from the artistic community and artistic activity, due to special circumstances beyond her control.
She added at the time that her new album was decided to be postponed indefinitely, and she thanked everyone who supported her in her artistic journey and life, and to her Arab audience from the ocean to the Gulf.
In another post on Twitter, Amal Maher indicated that she made the decision to retire after going through bad psychological conditions following the death of her aunt, who was close to her heart, as well as after the annulment of her engagement.
